While here, I als attended the Sawbridgeworth 309 Sqn. Air Training Corps (ATC) twice a week, where I learned marksmanship, principles of flight, radio communications, marching, marching band, map reading, survival skills and a lot more to boot.

Online learning through Simplilearn, PRINCE2 is a project management methodology. The methodology encompasses quality management, control and organization of a project with consistency and review to align with the objectives. PRINCE2 is a certification program for practitioners in the methodology who are accredited, qualified through training. PRINCE2 emphasis is on dividing the project into manageable and controllable stages. Prince 2 is owned by UK Government and Axelos
PMP is an internationally recognized professional designation offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
The training is based on the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), and requirements to sit for the exam include, a bachelor's degree, at least 4,500 hours of experience leading and directing projects, and 35 hours of formal project management education.
The PMP training allows me to use industry-standard principles, which have greatly improved my overall project success rate.
In order to quantify my level of Mandarin Chinese (Putonghua) I took the Peking University Advanced Chinese Course on Coursera.org, gaining a score of 99.2%.
Inspired by my success, I plan to start the HSK Chinese for Foreigners certification scheme in the coming months.
Run by the University of California, Irvine, I completed this on-line course in 2014 to help me with better a understanding of basic financial planning theories and management. Not only has this experience helped in my personal finances, but also with financial matters relating to my work as well, including project P&L planning and sales forecasting.
Run by the University of California, San Fransisco, this online course has been a fundamental part of my personal interest in health and well-being as it relates to nutrition, health and disease. This is not related to any particular professional post I have held, more it is part of my interest in a better quality, longer life, in keeping with my personal mission.
Run by the University of Geneva, I took this course in order to better understand the challenges facing International Organizations as I was part of a fast-growing organization at the time and wanted to bring some extra knowledge and understanding to the role. By studying organizations such as the EU council and the United Nations, I could present case studies and insight on how a corporation might go from medium size to enterprise-level whilst being aware of their overall place on the World stage.
In preparation for a move into education in a non-native English speaking country, I completed a teacher training course for how to teach English as a foreign language. This training also helped to set the foundation for my own learning or Chinese.
This experience was particularly useful when working as a lecturer in Computer Science at the United International College (UIC) (affiliated with the Hong Kong Baptists University (HKBU) and Beijing Normal University (BNU)).
